Guidant Financial

We came about Guidant Financial while doing research with best companies for small Businesses to work with regarding financing, planning and much more. We are beyond impressed with the quality of the service we have been receiving. We worked up close with Michael Stein, Alexa Nordstrom and Tina Harris. They have been outstanding when it comes to communication, assisting us with any questions/concerns we had and very patient through it all. We definitely recommend Guidant Financial because of the high caliber employees they have and will definitely do so for a very long time.

I am embarking on purchasing a franchise..... a very intimidating step considering all the things I need to consider, understand and learn. Doing so required some financing and I had heard there were opportunities to take advantage of my 401K without incurring any interest or charges via a ROBS, but had no idea what a ROBS is or how to go about it. Thankfully I was referred to Guidant and when I called, while I imagine all of their representatives are good, thankfully Tyler Roberts answered the phone. Tyler was patient, respectful, considerate, informative and transparent. In parallel I did some research and I did encounter an organization that offers a ROBS program less expensive than what Guidant charges. And I seriously considered saving some money by going that route. However, after a bit of contemplation I completed the process signing up with Guidant and I am very happy I did. With Guidant, I know I am with experts like Tyler that I can not only put my hands on whenever needed, but that care enough to take the time necessary to provide the type of customer service required to make these decisions - important enough to impact the rest of my life. I later found out Guidant is a full service shop, able to offer competitive financial services which will be greatly needed as I build this business - further confirmation I made the right choice. Short changing is not worthy of the path I am headed down, and I feel reassured knowing that Guidant, Tyler and I imagine all of their representatives are in my corner, helping to smooth out any bumps that may appear in this path.

I have been a customer since 2006 and had no issues (or atleast I thought I had no issues). When I sold my business and retired, it was time to close out the 401(k). That's when I found out they had not filed any of my annual reports for 5 years. The 5500's were always at the last minute. 2 years after I started the close out procedures, we have finally filed the last 5500 and annual report. While they told me along the way that everything was moving along, I found out a year after the dollars were moved (with their permission) that they had not calculated the annual reports are there were some employees I need to pay a dividend to. Mind you they were not in the program, nor did they want to be. Having not had any employees for the last 3 years while they delay my closing, I now have to try to track people down that work for me in 2018. Not to mention I have to pay them from my personal account. All of this, was completed in 2 weeks, once I started calling and emailing daily when we went into yet another year. The only thing I can figure out is, they are not expecting any company to be successful, therefore, closing the accounts become a mute point. Very disappointed they were not keeping paperwork up and filing accurate information on a timely basis. Paying thousands that in the end cost me penalties for there lack of follow through. There were no apologies, refunds or accountability. So if they respond to a review with an apology, it is a marketing person, trying to save face. Very disappointed.

I have been very satisfied in working with Guidant Financial. I would like to specifically highlight Michael Stein, who has been outstanding. You can very much tell Michael takes a lot of pride in his work. He never misses a follow-up, he is always on time, and he is also diligent, understanding, and helpful with my many questions. I would have been very much lost in this process if it wasn't for Michael's exceptional work. Thank you, Michael.

Guidant financial is the BEST ROBS transactions firm out there. I have completed two ROBS transactions with them and will do it again. The management and 401K administration team is well trained to provide smooth transaction. I had an opportunity to work with Paul Cook and Starrsha Harrell. They both went out of their way to help me to achieve my goals. Kudos to both.
